Oak and Ink Community and Session Policies
Copyright
Oak and Ink aims to allow for free discussion and sharing of ideas, and offers a safe space for writers to share their work. Each individual certifies by his or her participation that he or she owns the copyright for all material provided by him or her during a Session or Community event. All materials provided by Oak and Ink at any time are copyrighted and owned by Oak and Ink and will not be shared further unless specifically agreed to by Oak and Ink.
Inclusion & Anti-Harassment
Oak and Ink aims to provide a safe space for participants of any age, gender identity, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, disability status, or experience level. Any violent, harmful, or harassing speech made by a participant towards another participant or towards Oak and Ink in a Session or other Oak and Ink event will result in removal from the Session or event, and the participant will be blocked from attending future Sessions or events, as well as other reasonable action which may be taken given the content of the speech.
Use of Resources
The resources listed in the pages comprising The Stacks resource vault were compiled by Oak and Ink in an effort to serve the community and share what has been helpful to Ginger and Maddy in the past.
Oak and Ink does not guarantee results from or the efficacy of any resources listed, and any use of the resources should be accompanied by the participant’s own research as to what best suits their needs. Further, any community resources listed have been submitted by members of the Oak and Ink community but have not necessarily been comprehensively reviewed or used by Ginger and/or Maddy.
We are here to support you.
If you would like to report an event of harassment or other issue privately, please feel free to contact us directly via email or Instagram DM so we can further address the issue. We want each member of our community to feel safe while participating in Oak and Ink events and hope you enjoy your time here.
